Eight players on the brink of an exit from Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur are ready to let go off as many as eight players this summer in the transfer window.

The North London club is having a great time in the transfer window having made vital signings by the gaffer. Spurs are now preparing to facilitate the exit of as many as eight players before the regular season gets underway.

Djed Spence was the latest acquisition by the gaffer after having made five signings prior to this one. Tottenham boss Antonio Conte has made it clear since beginning of the takeover that players will leave if they don’t suit the project.

Tottenham wants eight players to leave

With the exits in mind, Tottenham have eight players on the list who could leave the N17 this summer. According to Evening Standard, Spurs want to sell the ‘unwanted’ players before the season kicks off in a few weeks.

Sergio Reguilon, Tanguy Ndombele, Harry Winks, and Giovani Lo Celso are some of the names on the list who could leave. The players did not travel to South Korea for the pre-season tour which makes the case stronger regarding an exit.

Conte also looked upon the defence and questioned whether the services of Emerson Royal and Japhet Tanganga would be needed. Tanganga has been linked with a move to the Italian champions, AC Milan in the transfer window.

Whereas, Royal and Matt Doherty will face stiff competition from Spence and Lucas Moura if they stay at Tottenham. Moreover, this would only hamper their game time and could see them slip down the pecking order in the squad.

Surely. In the coming weeks, we can expect Tottenham to sell players and generate some profit from the sales. It remains to be if the gaffer lets go off all the eight players or if some stay in the club.
