LIVERPOOL 4-0 ARSENAL: POST MATCH ANALYSIS
The Gunners came to Anfield in the hopes of ending their poor run in the stadium. Manager Mikel Arteta made sure that his team was compact and hard to breakthrough. Goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale continued his excellent start in the Arsenal colours as he made multiple vital saves.
However, the match shifted gears soon after an argument broke down on the sideline. Both managers Mikel Arteta and Jurgen Klopp were involved in a heated argument that saw them both earning a booking. This motivated both the Liverpool players and the fans as they started piling pressure on the Arsenal defence.
This saw a result when Sadio Mane gave them the lead from an excellent cross from Trent Alexander Arnold free-kick in the 39th minute. The Reds doubled their lead in the 52nd minute through a cool finish from Jota.
The match was soon taken away from the Arsenal hand by two quick goals in the 73rd and 77th minute. The first of this was from a neat tap-in Salah, while Minamino completed the scoring. Arsenal never looked like they were going to score as the Reds walk away with another home victory over the Gunners.
