If Liverpool must choose between Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham this summer, Tony Cascarino advised the Reds to prioritize Declan Rice over Jude Bellingham.
Bellingham seems to have been Jurgen Klopp’s major aim for the season’s finish for a while. This week, Fabrizio Romano said that the Borussia Dortmund player should continue to be their top pick.
One of the top players in the world of football is an England international. Therefore, if the opportunity arises in the upcoming months, Liverpool would seem to have no choice but to take it.

Liverpool to prioritize Declan Rice over Jude Bellingham
They should, however, possibly take a greater interest in a different player.
Rice is another celebrity who might change agents this summer. This week, The Times revealed that West Ham intends to offload the 24-year-old after the current campaign. But his fans will have to fork over almost £80 million.
Liverpool cannot be counted out in the race for Rice, according to journalist Ben Jacobs, who recently spoke with The Football Terrace.
And if the Reds are only able to sign one of the two in the near future, Cascarino feels that Declan Rice ought to even take precedence over Jude Bellingham.
“If the option is between Jude Bellingham and Rice, Liverpool should go for the latter. Bellingham is an excellent player but Rice solves the problems Liverpool are having and would provide a platform enabling those around him to shine,” he told The Times.
“Fabinho and Jordan Henderson have looked off the pace, with their ability to turn the ball over, make tackles and interceptions having fallen away. As a result, Liverpool’s midfield has been easy to run through but Rice is not a player who lets opponents pass him often.”
It is unexpected to hear Cascarino say that Declan Rice would make a better addition to Liverpool than Jude Bellingham. A “magnificent” player, Rice. He is also possibly among the first names listed on England’s roster.
However, Bellingham has it all. He appears to be capable of filling every midfield position. Additionally, he is more than four years Rice’s junior. He probably still has space to grow in this regard.
Rice would make a wonderful addition. However, given how talented Bellingham is, it is difficult to believe that many Liverpool supporters would concur with Cascarino’s assertion.
