David Ornstein shares what ‘he’s told’ about Mo Salah situation

Liverpool will go drastic changes in their club next season, with the departure of Jurgen Klopp. The club plans to bring major changes to the club including the squad list for next season. Amongst reports of several departure, the most interesting one is Liverpool’s main man, Mo Salah. There have been many rumours of his move to Saudi Pro League in the previous seasons. However, this time around it might very well be the case. Mo Salah is approaching the last year of his contract at the Anfield. Klopp’s departure could also play a big role in Mo Salah’s desire to leave. The Athletic’s David Ornstein has reported about his talks with Saudi Clubs.

David Ornstein on the Mo Salah situation

David Ornstein talked about the claims made by the former Premier League player Mido. In which the player stated that a deal has already been signed between Salah and Saudi deal makers. David said,

“Full respect to Mido and others reporting their information — but I’m told it is not true that contracts have been signed. If I’m wrong, I’ll hold my hands up. There’s every chance he will be pursued by teams from the Saudi Pro League again, especially given he is approaching the last 12 months of his existing deal, but that doesn’t mean he wants to leave Liverpool or Europe.”

David argued that there are interests from Saudi Clubs, but the talks of a deal already signed is false. Although, he did not deny the talks of chances of Salah leaving.

Mo Salah might bid farewell to Anfield?

As of now, there are no concrete reports on either his stay or departure. But Mido’s claims have certainly sparked some headlines about the Egyptian. David Ornstein denies any done deals, but hints at possible deals in the future. Whatever happens, it will be clear at the end of the season. The fans might have to wait this out to know the actual situation behind the scenes.
