Liverpool agrees on personal terms with Darwin Nunez. Finally, the transfer saga around Benfica striker Darwin Nunez is coming to a close. The move to Liverpool is in the works. However, the 22-year-old striker was linked to Manchester United and now he is moving to Liverpool. He has scored 34 times in 41 appearances in 2021-2022. Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool are ready to present the formal offer for the player. The offer is said to be 85 million pounds. In the Champions League, he scored six goals in ten games. He has scored against big teams like Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Ajax, and Liverpool.
Darwin Nunez finally starts moving.
There is an agreement on the personal terms and now they are agreeing on the personal terms. The deal is very close. However, if Nunez moves to Liverpool it might see the departure of Sadio Mane. If this deal goes through it will break the club record for transfer. The club record was with Virgil van Dijk in 2018. That deal cost 84.5 million pounds.
