Cristiano Ronaldo could still join these clubs this summer

About Football Express UK

Cristiano Ronaldo is still yet to decide his next destination for the coming season, but certain clubs could still secure his services this summer.

The Manchester United No. 7’s future has been up in the air for long with no concrete development yet. The Portuguese international has made it clear that he does not fully back manager Erik ten Hag’s project since his arrival.

The forward along with his agents reached Manchester earlier this week to discuss with the club over his uncertain future. The Red Devils have made it clear that the club would not be willing to sell the player this summer.

Whereas, Ronaldo has been adamant regarding his exit as he does not intend on playing Europa League football next season. The club and the gaffer are trying to convince him to stay by making vital signings but the forward seems clear.

The United ace along with his agent Jorge Mendes is exploring the possibility of sending him out on loan. However, the club will need to agree on this demand put forth by the player and his agent.

Ronaldo could still join these clubs

With a few weeks still to go before the transfer window concludes, Ronaldo could still head to a new destination. The forward considers the project and Champions League football as his main target to play in the new season.

Earlier this window, the agent offered the forward to Bayern Munich only to be rejected by the Bundesliga champions. Now he is keeping a close eye on potential clubs that could meet his requirements and he could possibly join.

Sporting Lisbon

The Portuguese giants have earned their spot to play Champions League this season. This could tempt Ronaldo to join the club and he also began his career with Sporting.

However, his wages could make it difficult for Sporting to place a bid but there is possibility of a loan move.

Napoli

The Italian club has emerged to be a contender to snap up the services of Ronaldo this summer. The forward is determined to leave United and join elsewhere and the Serie A outfit could potentially place a bid.
