Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi warned to get his “Head Straight”

Callum Hudson-Odoi

Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odoi has been running out of time to break through in the squad. Former Chelsea defender Glen Johnson has admitted while Hudson Odoi does possess the talent, He has not been able to showcase his talents at the biggest stage.

“He has spells where he looks unplayable and then he has days where it looks like he shouldn’t be playing in the Premier League. If he gets his head straight then I think he’s got a lot to offer but I think his days at Chelsea are over to be honest. He’s still young but for me he’s got a lot to learn.”

Hudson-Odoi broke into the Chelsea squad a couple of years ago and was excellent in his early stages. Many expected the youngster to develop into a world class forward and was seen as a generational talent. However Hudson-Odoi has not been able to develop nor find the consistency during his time at the club.

Hudson-Odoi, 21, has a lot of years ahead of him and can easily break into the squad and find a spot. Although it is going to be a difficult road for the youngster as Chelsea have several other forwards like Kai Havertz, Timo Werner. Moreover the signing of Raheem Sterling won’t make it easy. Hudson-Odoi should take Johnso’s advise and keep his head in the game and work hard.

Hudson-Odoi could find a spot in the team in the off chance Hakim Ziyech leaves Chelsea. Ziyech is linked with a move to the Italian Champions AC Milan. Chelsea would have a big loss if Ziyech were to leave.

Although Ziyech only managed to produce his performances for Chelsea throughout the last couple of years. However Ziyech would still be a loss.
