Chelsea maintained their winning after thrashing Norwich City 7-0. Mason Mount scored a hat-trick for the Blues.

The Blues presented a dominant performance against Norwich without Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku. Even without the likes of these two strikers, they proved to be clinical.

Chelsea is currently one of the best teams in the world. Even without Lukaku, they are winning matches. With the service of Lukaku and Timo Werner, they will be even more formidable.

Mason Mount : A future legend for Chelsea?

Mason Mount has been phenomenal for Chelsea. Under Frank Lampard, Mount emerged and his qualities were properly utilised.

Mount had a G/A of 18 in 54 games in 2020/21. He was great throughout the champions league as he also provided the assist for the winning goal. His goal-scoring ability comes as a surprise because he is a central midfielder. Mount’s creative abilities are also outstanding.

Mount is the best academy player in recent years for Chelsea. At this rate, Mount can be a legend for the Blues.

Is Chelsea’s UCL winning season one of the best?

Chelsea were definitely the underdogs in 2020/21. No one expected them to win the title but they did the unexpected.

The Blues winning the UCL title was definitely historical coming from the club’s perspective. But was it one of the best in football history?

Chelsea struggled in the Premier League and failed to win the FA cup against Leicester.

In 2019/20 Bayern Munich under Hansi Flick won the sextuple. That Bayern side broke records and can be placed as one of the best teams in history.

The Blues certainly pulled off a great season after winning the biggest trophy for the second time in their history. 

If they continue performing consistently then they will certainly be considered as one of the best teams in history.
