Recent reports suggest that individuals close to Chelsea current owners have been discussing the relationship between the pair at this time.

The Telegraph reports that individuals close to both Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali have asserted that their relationship remains strong. Despite a decrease in their public appearances together.

Boehly attended nearly every game at Stamford Bridge last season. Thus, marking his first season overseeing Chelsea since taking over from Roman Abramovich.

He became a regular presence for attending fans, but as the season progressed, his frustration became evident. Following another home loss, the American stormed into the Chelsea dressing room, heading straight for summer signing Raheem Sterling. Allegedly, he was willing to confront the player directly about his underperformance in recent weeks.

Chelsea owners might make an appearance in EFL Final against Liverpool

Eghbali has been less visible, but it’s a belief he holds an equally significant role in decision-making at Chelsea.

While the duo have been spotted together numerous times since taking over at Chelsea, their appearances together have dwindled recently. However, reports suggest this decline isn’t indicative of any strain on their relationship, despite Chelsea’s challenging past few years.

The duo as per expectations will be present at Wembley on Sunday to witness if their side can secure the first trophy since their takeover. Chelsea league campaign seems doomed at present. Hence, they should prioritize on securing the EFL Cup this time despite facing mighty Liverpool. Nevertheless, Blues fans will hope for the best from their squad.
