How can Chelsea line up against Leicester after the international break?

About Football Express UK

Chelsea will face Leicester City on 20th November after returning from the international break. Chelsea dropped points in their last match after drawing against Burnley in their previous match. The pressure mounts on The Blues since Manchester City and West Ham have closed in on them.

Just like Chelsea, Leicester City also drew against Leeds United and are 12th in the table.

Predicted lineup for Chelsea against Leicester City.

Thomas Tuchel will have reinforcements after the return of Mason Mount and Romelu Lukaku.

Trevor Chalobah may line up alongside Christensen and Rudiger. Chelsea’s wing-backs Reece James and Ben Chilwell are in great form. Tuchel has the option to choose between Marcos Alonso and Chilwell for LWB.

The midfield trio of Chelsea could also see a change with their starting three involved in their international matches. Usually, N’golo Kante, Kovacic and Jorginho start but it is possible that Ruben Loftus Cheek can also start. RLC has impressed Tuchel, his seamless dribbling and spatial awareness will earn him more game time.

Mason Mount is expected to recover after dental surgery whereas Lukaku will also return. Timo Werner is out with an injury but inform, Hudson Odoi will definitely play in his place.

What are the  problems which Leicester City will face?

Leicester City defender Jonny Evans has just returned after an injury. He missed 7 games for Leicester City but has started 4 of their last league outings. He also played 90 minutes in his nation’s win over Lithuania.

The defender is finding it difficult to return to form. He stated that

I had people around me, club doctors and people who me great reassurance.

I wish I’d been able to come back a bit sooner.

“I wasn’t able to but I think there was maybe a point where I thought, ‘Maybe that’s me done, I’ll be on 91 caps forever’.

Leicester City might win against Chelsea but they will not be able to cope before January. The Foxes have a busy schedule just before the transfer window. They will possibly play 7 matches in 16 days. This will happen because they are in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup.
