Chelsea have reportedly made contact with Saul Niguez‘s representatives amidst their interest in the midfielder. He is facing a lack of playing time under Atletico coach Diego Simeone this season.
The Rojiblancos had a wonderful season this time around. They took the race for the La Liga title to the last match week. However, Saul might be forcing to move away from the club where he spent the most.
Although he has still five years left on his contract, the Spanish giants are thinking of bagging some money as his asking price should be atleast around €80 million.
Saul moving to Chelsea would certainly make his playing ability better

However, to challenge for the league title, they might need more tactical players who can turn around the matches. Saul Niguez might be exactly looking for that opportunity and prove himself to be deserving a call up for Spain.
The 26-year-old midfielder couldn’t make up to the Spain squad featuring for the Euro 2020. However, excelling in the Premier League is a tough task and he might not have much playing time under new coach Thomas Tuchel.
According to Mundo Deportivo and Sport Witness, the Pensioners have already made enquiry about his availability to be signed. However, the main competition would be Manchester United, who had earlier tried to sign him.
Bayern Munich are also strongly linked to the transfer but no official offer has been placed. Now, clubs like Manchester City, Paris Saint Germain and Juventus are also interested in signing him for the Spanish capital.
