Chelsea is Unlikely to sign Saul Niguez permanently. Saul Niguez signed for Chelsea in the summer that too on the Deadline Day. He arrived from La Liga champions Atletico De Madrid on loan for an initial cost of (€4M), with an option to make the move permanent next summer for (€30M).
The 26-year-old Midfielder came from Atletico Madrid to Chelsea on the deadline day with a point to prove. But things are not going as planned for the Spaniard as he has appeared only thrice for Chelsea in all competitions. The European champions reportedly have no intentions to sign Niguez permanently.
His only appearance came against Aston Villa which ended up badly for the player. He got hooked at Half-time in that encounter and he has remained as an Unused Substitute since then. Chelsea is currently on top of the Premier League with 22 Points sitting above Liverpool and Manchester City. Although the Blues have a couple of injuries to look after, they look well on course to claim the Premier League title.
Chelsea look to Offload Saul Niguez and target Marcelo Brozovic
Chelsea has the chance to sign the Former Europa League winner Saul Niguez at the end of this summer. But they show no signs of paying the total amount of (€34M) and bringing the Midfielder to Stamford Bridge. As claimed by La Razon, the Blues are ready to release the Spaniard’s services next summer.
Thomas Tuchel arrived at Stamford Bridge in January 2021 after Chelsea sacked Frank Lampard. The German has reinvented the Team completely as Chelsea won the UEFA Champions League under him in just 4 months. Reports also suggest that the Former PSG manager is interested in signing Marcelo Brozovic from Serie A Champions Inter Milan.
Marcelo Brozovic is all set to become a Free agent next summer as his contract with Inter Milan will expire at the end of the season. Few more clubs including Chelsea are keeping tabs on the Croatian Midfielder who has been with the defending Serie A Champions since 2015. The 28-year-old Midfielder has made 206 appearances for Inter and has scored 20 goals.
