Player ratings: The game between Chelsea and Liverpool has finished in a stalemate after a thrilling Sunday evening encounter.
Liverpool led the game early in the game by 2-0 but the host stormed back into the game towards the end of the first half. But, in the end, neither side could find a breakthrough to come away with all three points.
This result gave a huge advantage to the league leader Manchester City as the two other contenders have dropped points. The second-placed side Chelsea are currently 10 points behind the Citizens and third-placed team Liverpool are 11 points behind Pep Guardiola’s side with a game in hand.

The Senegalese keeper made a few great saves to earn at least a point for Thomas Tuchel’s side.
Trevoh Chalobah(6/10)(RCB):
Made a bad mistake which led to the first goal for the visitors. Apart from that, he displayed a very good performance and saved his side on a few occasions.
Thiago Silva(6/10)(CB):
Distribution was very good and defensively did quite well.
Antonio Rudiger(6/10)(LCB):
Caught ball-watching for the second goal of Liverpool. But, otherwise played a quite solid game.
Cesar Azpilicueta(6/10)(RWB):
Defensively did well but wasn’t good enough going forward for the hosts.
Mateo Kovacic(7.5/10)(CM):
Worked tirelessly in midfield and dominated the game against the mighty Liverpool and also scored an astonishing goal.
N’Golo Kante(7/10)(CM):
Showed great energy and intensity in midfield. Overall a great display from the Frenchman.
Marcos Alonso(7/10)(LWB):
Looked threatening going forward and also did well defensively. But, he failed to stop Salah from scoring a great goal.
Mason Mount(6/10)(RW):
Off the ball, he worked great but with the possession, he needed to be much more clinical. Overall, a decent performance from the Englishman.
Christian Pulisic(6.5/10)(LW):
The American equalized the game for Chelsea. But, he should have opened the account early in the game but failed to score from a one on one situation.
Kai Havertz(5.5/10)(CF):
Started a game after a while and therefore he looked short in fitness and sharpness.

Thomas Tuchel’s side controlled the game more after his introduction. Prior to that, it was a frantic and end to end game.
Callum Hudson-Odoi(6/10)(CF):
Replaced Kai Havertz but the Englishman couldn’t impact the game as much as the home fans were hoping for.
