About Football Express UK

Burnley faces Newcastle in their final match in the Premier League. Newcastle will be finishing mid-table regardless of the outcome. Where Burnley needs the win to stay in the Premier League.

Burnley have struggled this season as they have vanquished at the bottom of the League. Usually, they are the kind of team that no one seems to bat an eye but surprisingly finishes mid-table and stays in the League. However, they have not done that this season as they have flirted with the relegation zone.

Burnley also sacked their long-time manager Sean Dyche which came as a surprise considering he was at the job for more than 10 years. In fact, at the time he was the longest-serving manager. However, Sean Dyche’s departure have inspired Burnley to play better football. In fact, Burnley just needs to win this match to stay in the Premier League and forget this season.

Newcastle have been decent ever since they showed Steve Bruce the exit door. At a point last year, Newcastle were struggling and were battling relegation. However, Eddie Howe came in and steadied the ship and have taken them well above the relegation zone.

In fact, they won’t be finishing anywhere near the relegation zone. Newcastle United will be looking forward to their next season as they plan to bring in big players into their team as they had a billionaire takeover last year. The new owners are hoping to transform Newcastle into a super club however for that to happen this season has to end and Newcastle would be hoping for a good end to the season.
