Burnley vs Manchester City: Preview and Predicted Line-up

Manchester City

Manchester City will return to action this weekend when they will travel to Turf Moor to encounter Burnley in a crucial Premier League fixture.

The Citizens had to endure a disappointing draw against Crystal Palace in their previous fixture in the Premier League which reduced the gap up top with Liverpool. As the reigning Premier League champions are currently only one point ahead of Jurgen Klopp’s side ahead of this weekend’s fixture.

Pep Guardiola’s side has managed to accumulate 70 points in 29 games this campaign. They have struggled to keep their winning run going in recent weeks as the Citizens have only earned 10 points in their last five games.

On the other hand, Burnley is currently fighting for survival. Sean Dyche’s side is sitting in 19th in the table with 21 points in 27 games. They have lost the last three consecutive games and only won once in the last five.

Meanwhile, the Citizens won the reverse fixture against Burnley by 2-0. The Clarets haven’t had a great time against Pep Guardiola’s side as they lost 13 games out of 14 in all competitions. In the other fixture, the game ended in a stalemate.
