Bayern Munich’s Serge Gnabry not an option for Arsenal

About Football Express UK

Arsenal are not considering making an offer for Bayern winger Serge Gnabry as they are focused on different targets.

The German winger has a year left in his contract with the Bundesliga outfit and a potential move was speculated. Moreover, Gnabry has turned out offers from his present club unwilling to renew his contract.

This has sparked off rumours that suggested the winger could make an exit for another club this summer. A move to the Premier League was under much discussion with Arsenal reportedly hoping to sign the winger.

However, the rumour bubble has been burst by a reliable source dropping the stance Arsenal have maintained amid the links.

Arsenal not interested in Gnabry

An expert on the field of Transfers, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Arsenal are not pursuing the winger from Bayern. He took to Twitter to share the developments on the alleged Arsenal ‘target’.

He said-

“Understand Arsenal are not working to sign Serge Gnabry. He’s not in the list, as things stand – Arsenal are now focused on different targets.”

With the club making their stance clear on the matter, it seems as though they are looking at different targets. The targets may not necessarily be of the same position, which is the role of a winger. Moreover, the club is looking to secure the signature of Lisandro Martinez and Raphinha.

The club has already announced the arrival of Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City to the Emirates earlier today. Excited to start of a new challenge under Arteta, the gaffer seems to be building a team to compete for titles next season.

The club is set to miss out on the Raphinha deal to FC Barcelona as the player has reached personal terms. However, losing out on the Leeds winger wouldn’t cause too much harm as the Gunners will have a duo of their own.

Moreover, the Gooners will be excited to see Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus pairing up in the front-line next season.
