In recent news ,FC Barcelona have sacked Ronald Koeman. Serge Barjuan is currently appointed as the interim manager with the club waiting for Xavi Hernandez.
Xavi Hernandez is arguably the best midfielder in the history of football. He knows the morals of the club ,the playing style and is familiar with the players. His attacking mindset and experience as a player will help FC Barcelona.
Pep Guardiola has spoken on Xavi stating that he is certainly ready for this job.
According to Sport, Xavi is fond of Bayern Winger Kingsley Coman. The winger has excelled at Bayern and also played a crucial role in their title winning season.
Are FC Barcelona going to be a major team again in the next 2-3 years?
The Spanish giants have had the worst start to their season. They have lost to Real Madrid three times in a row.
After losing Lionel Messi and majority of their older players losing their form ,the club is in a transitional period.
It seemed as if the club had hit rock bottom but there is a lot of positivity.
Under Ronald Koeman , many youngsters came out in the first team. Not all of them are world class as of now but are very talented.
Ansu Fati
The 18 year old has been phenomenal for FC Barcelona. His dribbling is impressive but more than his technical side his finishing is amazing. He can be played as a striker which is what the club needs currently.
Ansu has been given the legendary number 10 once worn by Lionel Messi. Despite the pressure being high on him the veterans of the club believe in him.
Pedri Gonzalez
FC Barcelona signed him from Las Palmas and has the most appearances in football for a 17 year old. His intelligence on the ball and calmness with it makes him the perfect midfield asset.
He has impressed in Euros and was named Best Young Player of Euros 2020.
Ronald Araujo
Araujo once used to play in Barcelona B , he then went on to replace Umtiti. He is a centre back who always plays in the starting XI when possible.
With Pique getting older ,his pace has gotten slower but his positioning is still great. Araujo is great in defensive abilities and in tough situations. His aerial ability and pace is great.
A duo of Pique and Araujo is currently favourable as Oscar Mingueza( another La Masia player) will take Pique’s place in the future.
These three youngsters are amongst numerous others which FC Barcelona have. Under the guidance of a great manager ,they can certainly excel and contend for major titles again.
