Aston Villa want three AC Milan players as part of Douglas Luiz Deal

Aston Villa

Aston Villa are in talks with AC Milan over three players to be included as a part of the Douglas Luiz transfer.

The uncertainty in the midfield has made Villa boss Steven Gerrard look for players in the transfer market. The futures of Morgan Sanson, Carney Chukwuemeka, and Douglas Luiz are up in the air regarding a possible exit.

Moreover, Serie A champions AC Milan are closely monitoring Douglas Luiz’s situation and are looking to sign the player. According to a report by BirminghamLive, three names from the Rossoneri have been linked with a move to the Premier League.

Adding to this, reports claim a deal worth €30m for the Villa midfielder could be finalized in the coming days.

Villa to offer Douglas Luiz for three players in return

There is no doubt surrounding the interest by the Serie A outfit over the Villa ace. However, Gerrard has stressed upon building a midfield that would work as the heart on the pitch.

Signing Boubacar Kamara who is a defensive midfielder could be used more in the back four during the matches. Moreover, his defensive acumen could also help the club track back on the pitch as a defender.

Gerrard clearly intends to bolster his squad this summer and could go for three players from Milan. Ismael Bennacer, Fode Ballo-Toure, and Tommaso Pobega could very well be on the gaffer’s radar for the next campaign.

Moreover, Villa could use these players to inject their level of experience on the pitch helping them compete against rival teams. Bennacer being a left-footed player who can play the no. 6 role to his perfection would ease into Villa’s squad.

However, nothing concrete has yet developed and indeed, there will be ongoing talks between the clubs regarding the players.
