Aston Villa fans have made a cheeky transfer request after Philippe Coutinho was pictured with Brazil teammate Neymar.
Coutinho became Aston Villa’s first summer acquisition in May when he chose to make his loan agreement permanent. Thus, the club agreed on a price of around £17 million. This was after the attacking midfielder had five goals and three assists in 19 league appearances for Steven Gerrard’s side.
Coutinho, who joined Barcelona from Liverpool for an estimated £142 million in January 201. He is viewed as a great signing for Aston Villa.
Aston Villa have already been active in the transfer window. Coutinho and Robin Olsen made their loan transfers permanent. Moreover, Boubacar Kamara joined on a free transfer from Marseille and Diego Carlos came from Sevilla for £26 million.

Coutinho’s signing at B6 was a high-profile statement of Aston Villa’s rising ambition and desire to return to European play. Fans, however, joked that the offensive midfielder may bring PSG winger Neymar to Villa’s ranks. This was after the duo were spotted together on social media. Such an event happened amid speculations that the Brazil star could quit the French giants.
Moreover, this shows a change in the Aston Villa fans attitude when the Jack Grealish sale was ongoing. They have previously said that they would not swap out Grealish for Neymar. However, today they as for Neymar’s transfer, even though it’s just a joke. How the tables have turned.
