Arsenal to aim for a squad overhaul for the upcoming season

Arsenal is entirely focusing on the Premier League title race. Thus, aiming to surpass both Manchester City and Liverpool to secure the silverware. Despite this on-field focus, the club could be gearing up for significant spending off the pitch. That is after a relatively disappointing January transfer window.

Mikel Arteta may seek to enhance other areas of his squad. In the upcoming summer window, Arsenal in North London could once again have a connection with moves for Martin Zubimendi, Amadou Onana, and Ivan Toney. Thus, potentially intensifying their pursuit this time around.

If Arsenal secures the Premier League title this season, they could find themselves in their strongest position to attract top-tier players since the glory days of Arsene Wenger. Their recent victory over Liverpool could significantly contribute to this goal.

Arsenal to pursue Neto from Wolves

In addition to pursuing targets like Toney and Zubimendi, Arsenal could also make a move for long-term target Pedro Neto. As per reports, the Gunners are prepared to seize the opportunity should Wolves need to sell Neto this summer.

According to Football Insider, via TeamTalk’s report, the Midlands club must release players. That is before they can make new acquisitions in the summer window. Neto’s valuation might be around £60 million, as they aim to address Financial Fair Play issues and regain some spending power.

Reportedly, Arsenal aims to increase competition among his wide players. And Neto could be the ideal candidate to fulfill that role, considering his standout performances for Wolves this season.
