EMILE SMITH ROWE TO STAY PUT FOR THE NEXT SEASON
According to David Ornstein, Arsenal will not sell Emile Smith Rowe in the next summer transfer window. This comes amid reports linking him to a loan move in the next summer transfer window. However, Ornstein has confirmed that the Gunners see him as an important part of the future. The player is also open to staying at the club.
It looks like the Arsenal coaching staff have a plan in mind for Smith Rowe for the next season. The Gunners are going to go under a overhaul in the next summer transfer window. Hence, many thought that the Gunners would view Smith Rowe as their best saleable asset. However, it looks like this is not the case in the next summer transfer window.
ARSENAL ARE ALSO HOPING TO KEEP REISS NELSON AT THE CLUB
According to reports, Arsenal are also hoping to keep Emile Smith Rowe’s teammate Reiss Nelson at the club. Reiss Nelson is also in contract discussions with the Gunners. The winger wants to sign a long-term contract at the club. Hence, the Gunners offered him a four year contract extension. It also includes the option to extend it for one more year.
However, the Arsenal winger is yet to accept or reject the contract extension. Reiss Nelson also has offers from other Premier League clubs, La Liga clubs and Serie A clubs. The Gunners are going to certainly sell Nicolas Pepe in the next summer transfer window on loan or permanently. Hence, they will need the services of Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson in the next summer.
Both of the players will also solve the issue of homegrown players in the Arsenal squad. They will also provide squad depth for Mikel Arteta to select from. Hence, it makes sense for the Gunners to not sell Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson.
