Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will not take the chance of playing Kieran Tierney in the left sided center-back. Hence, Rob Holding is likely to start against Leeds United.
ARSENAL WILL NOT TRY SOMETHING NEW CLAIMS KEVIN CAMPBELL
Kevin Campbell has said that Mikel Arteta will not risk playing Kieran Tierney against Leeds United. A report also claimed earlier that Tierney would play as a left-sided center back. This is also because of the injury to William Saliba. However, Kevin Campbell expects Mikel Arteta to start Rob Holding. He has also said that Tierney would not fit Arteta’s current style.
Kevin Campbell speaking on the Arsenal left-back further said, “We know Kieran Tierney could play left-sided (centre-back in a back three). He probably could (play at right-back if need be).“But, that natural progression down the right-hand side, you are going to miss that. Defensively, we are there. We know Tierney can play left of a three, but because he is a natural left-back, I don’t see us changing that anytime soon. I don’t because the balance of the team then gets affected.”

According to reports, Kieran Tierney wants to leave Arsenal in the next summer transfer window. He wants regular game time. However, the Gunners have not yet made a decision. Hence, they will try to sign a new left-back to compete with Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Kieran Tierney had a brilliant first season with Arsenal. However, minor and major injuries derailed his career. Hence, he will hope that his new club sky rockets his career again. Hence, it looks like Rob Holding will keep starting till Saliba recovers from his injury.
