Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided his verdict on Manchester City forward Jack Grealish amid transfer links to the London club.

The North London manager has admitted that the Cityzens star could be a possible signing in the future. It is understood that the pole wants a move away from the club in the following year in 2023.

Moreover, Mikel Arteta would be up and running to bolster the squad next year in the summer transfer window. Adding the services of Grealish into the Arsenal squad will further enhance the quality of attack within the team.

Arsenal boss makes Grealish admission

The 27-year-old has not quite found his way at the top of the squad at Manchester City under Pep Guardiola. Moreover, the attacker has only managed to get few matches as a starter up front in the attack in the Etihad.

According to 90Min, Grealish has asked his agents to engineer a possible move next year after the end of this season. The former Aston Villa ace has already had a Premier League title in his very first season with City.

Whereas Arsenal have not yet won a PL title in the last few years and Grealish could take this as a challenge. Impressed with his top-quality performances, Arteta said-

“He is a top player, great talent, he is player who can make a difference at any moment in the game.

“He has this personality against any opponent, at any ground, to take the ball in any area of the pitch and he can make the difference, so we have to look after him.”

It will be interesting to see if Grealish considers a move to Arsenal next season and take up a new challenge. Only time will tell if Arsenal are in need of another attacker to bolster the squad further.
