Arsenal has reportedly submitted their first offer to sign Fiorentina star Dusan Vlahovic as per the report in the Italian outlet Gazzetta Dello Sport

The Gunners are keen on signing the Serbian international to strengthen their attacking department. However, after the current dispute with Gabonese forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Mikel Arteta’s side is a little short in numbers in the attacking department. 

According to the report, Arsenal has placed a bid of £46 million, including Lucas Torreira who is currently on loan at La Viola. The Serie A side is yet to respond to this offer for their star whose current contract will expire in June 2023 and has rejected to extend his stay at the Stadio Artemio Franchi. 

The report further claims that the 21-year-old is willing to stay at Florence until the end of this season to challenge the European places with the Italian club. Meanwhile, apart from the north London club. Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City are also showing interest in signing the talented forward.

Signing Dusan Vlahovic will be a great purchase for Arsenal in this January transfer window. The forward has already scored 16 goals and assisted two times in 19 Serie A appearances. The 21-year-old is leading the race for the golden boot this season. And if he continues to perform like this then he might grab that glory at the end of this season. 

With the Gunners looking to offload Aubameyang in this winter transfer window and the future of Alexandre Lacazette also hanging in the air, signing the youngster will be a great acquisition for Mikel Arteta’s side. 

The forward is quick, strong and brilliant in the air. So, the youngster has all the attributes to become a world-class forward in future. So, the 21-year-old could become an integral part of Mikel Arteta’s system in days to come.
