Arsenal Interested in Signing Real Betis star Nabil Fekir

Arsenal are keen to sign a playmaker before the start of next season and It looks like Nabil Fekir could be a perfect fit for the Gunners.

The Spanish club Real Betis star playmaker is one of the key players for Manuel Pellegrini. Fekir made 33 appearances in the La Liga this season and found the net 5 times and provided 6 assists. The Frenchmen is one of the emerging players and Arsenal are looking forward to bring Fekir to the Emirates before the closing of this summer’s transfer window.

According to reports from the British citation Goal, Arsenal are registering their interest in Fekir as an alternative to Martin Odegaard. Mikel Arteta’s side are still willing to buy Odegaard from Real Madrid on a permanent deal. Although, the Norway captain may ultimately prove to be too expensive. Arsenal are already going through a tough phase. As they will not be playing any European football next season for the first time in 26 years.

It will be a very interesting signing for Arsenal looks to rebuild its squad with the inclusion of Fekir ahead of the beginning of next season.

The Gunners are looking to bolster their options in the number 10 role this summer. While they were unsuccessful in the pursuit of Emiliano Buendia, who has now given his signatures to Aston Villa. However, Arsenal boss Arteta is desperately willing to sing a playmaker this summer. Thus, is keen to bring Fekir to Emirates this summer.

The 27 years old midfielder is currently under a contract with Real Betis until 2023. However, reports have suggested that the French international is willing to test himself in the Premier League. Liverpool were also willing to bring Fekir at Anfield in 2019 but the move ultimately broke down. Moreover, now Fekir is keen on competing in the Premier League.

Fekir has looked impressive with the Spanish Club so far, However, he was left out of France’s Euro 2020 squad by Didier Deschamps. Arsenal are keen to sign the Frenchmen and Fekir is also willing to join the Gunners. Fekir will be on his way for a move to North London if the Betis offer him for a reasonable price.
