Antony was seen protesting against Ten hag after his to move him to left back in the final stages of the game.

Antony was introduced as a late substitute during Manchester united’s 1-0 defeat to Arsenal but was forced to change his position as the hosts pushed for an equaliser.

The Brazilian has struggled to live up to his 85 million price tag netting just 3 goals and notching only 2 assists.

He has seen his role reduced this campaign.

Antony started from the bench again for the visit of Arsenal on sunday. Ten hag introduced him with 20 minutes remaining as United was looking for an equaliser.

But with three minutes to go Ten Hag made a triple change Eriksen, Omari forson and Ethan Wheatley.

Then the United’s boss made Antony move to an unorthodox left back role. The Brazilian was clearly unhappy with the move and reluctantly trudged over to his new position only after scott mctominay approached him to hurry him over.

But antony was seen pointing at his head and raising his arms in apparent questioning of the move. The Brazilian was then seen covering his mouth as he spoke to his International teammate Gabriel jesus.

The incident is not the first time it’s happened with Antony this season. In march a footage emerged showing his disappointment at being asked to play as a left back during extra time. In United’s FA cup win over Liverpool.

Antony has been an underwhelming signing since joining from Ajax in 2022 for 86 million. The Brazilian has scored just 3 goals and bagged a paltry 2 assists this season

Unless something drastically changes he will likely to go down as a transfer flop.
