The Scotland national team captain Andrew Robertson welcomes his teammates with a Scottish-themed gift pack in the Euro 2020 campaign.

The Scotland national football team is being placed in Group D. The Tartan Army are having Croatia, Czech Republic and their neighbours England in the Euro 2020 group. Andrew Robertson and the company will kick off their journey for Euro 2020 on the 14th of June. They will be facing the Czech Republic in their opening game of the tournament.

To make everybody comfortable in the camp of Scotland, their captain arranged the package off his own back to help his teammates settle into their camp at Rockliffe Hall, near Darlington, which lies adjacent to Middlesbrough’s training facilities.

The Gifts include Scottish food and drinks as well as electrical equipment and video games. This might have surely given a boost to the teammates and will set them up for the upcoming tournament.

How Scottish players reacted to Andrew Robertson welcome present

One of the Scotting player Kevin Nisbet, revealed that the gesture had brought the squad even closer together.

“When we came here Robbo gave us all a gift of a box with a lot of things in it. And that made me realise that we were at the Euros and it’s started now,” said the Scottish striker.

Moreover, Nisbet further added saying

“Everyone was very appreciative. He has obviously gone out his own way to do that. When you have got a skipper that does that, then 100 per cent you back them.”

In addition to that he said

“Coming to facilities like this and the skipper giving us gifts makes you realise that you are in a major tournament and we’re all really excited.”

Now the ground is all set and players are all uplifted by the Liverpool right-back Andrew Robertson’s way of welcoming. However, Scotland are not the favourites to win the competition but it will be interesting to see how they approach the games as they got some talented players in their squad.
