Alex Iwobi has named the best player he ever played with during his time at Arsenal. The Nigerian spent 15 years at Arsenal having joined the club as a kid. He came through the ranks
And ended up making 149 senior appearances for the club before he was sold to Everton in 2019.
Alex Iwobi played with some phenomenal players when he was at the club.
The now-27-year-old made his Gunners debut back in October 2015 in a game that featured the likes of Olivier Giroud, Petr Cech and Per Mertesacker.

Iwobi also shared the dressing room with stars like Mesut Ozil, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette,
But none of them came to his mind when he was asked to name the best player he has ever played with.
The Nigeria international, instead, named Santi Cazorla.
“The best player I have played with is Santi Cazorla when I was at Arsenal,” he told Voice of Nigeria.
Cazorla spent six years as a gunner player before he was released in May 2018. Ivan Gazidis called him ‘one of my favourite players to watch‘ while confirming his departure.
Santi Cazorla was an absolute fan favourite at Arsenal. Injury ruined Santi Cazorla’s Arsenal career
The Spaniard is hailed by many as the best player they’ve played with,
And his quality on the ball was out of this world. He was a joy to watch every time he stepped on the pitch.
Cazorla’s final years at Arsenal were a terrible one. He suffered a really bad injury, one that Arsene Wenger called ‘the worst’ he had ever seen (Guardian). The midfielder didn’t play a minute of football for over 600 days before his time at Arsenal came to an end.
One can only imagine how much more Cazorla would’ve achieved at Arsenal if it wasn’t for his injury.
