Alessandro Bastoni wants a move to Tottenham Hotspur. He has informed Inter Milan that he wants a move to Spurs in the summer. The 23-year-old centre-back played a key role in winning the Scudetto in the 2020-2021 season. He provided three assists in 33 Serie A matches under Antonio Conte. Thus, Bastoni has remained an important part of the team. Bastoni has continued to be an integral part of Simone Inzaghi’s arrival. He has provided one goal and three assists in 44 appearances in all tournaments.

Alessandro Bastoni on the move?

Alessandro Bastoni only extended his contract last year and it is supposed to stay till 2024. However, the player is willing to make the move this summer himself. The reason Bastoni has chosen to go to Spurs is to reunite with his former manager Antonio Conte. Conte himself has earmarked the Italian player to be part of his defensive target this window.

Spurs have been handed a major boost because the player himself wants to move to the club as well. Bastoni is determined to work with Conte again. Moreover, Inter does not want to let the player go but they will reluctantly open talks with Bastoni. Moreover, Bastoni will forge a strong relationship with Ivan Perisic who has already joined Spurs. Both the players were former teammates and will continue to perform well.

Bastoni joined Inter at the age of 18 at a price of twenty-eight million euros and has made 118 appearances for Inter Milan in all tournaments. Moreover, Bastoni has scored three goals and provided eight assists.

He said

“I have two years left on my contract with Inter so I am relaxed. The club hasn’t told me anything.”

“I am just waiting just waiting to go on vacation after this and then start pre-season with Inter.”

In addition to this, Manchester United are also monitoring the developments on the Bastoni’s transfer. He is going to be a superb player for whoever signs him.
