Mikel Arteta and his Arsenal side will try to register their first win of 2022 as they welcome Burnley. The Gunners have played 4 matches across multiple competitions since the beginning of this year, but have lost all of them.

Burnley on the other hand is going through a rough period and are battling relegation. Sean Dyche and his men have seen many of their matches being postponed due to injury and covid issues. Burnley currently sits bottom of the Premier League table before their away match with Arsenal.

The Gunners still have Mohamed Elneny and Nicolas Pepe on their international duties at the AFCON, making them unavailable for selection. Arsenal midfield will be stretched to the limits as both Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka are suspended after picking up red cards.

Other injury worries include Cedric Soares, Bernd Leno and Calum Chambers at the back. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is also an absentee after having COVID related issues.
